CASCO DAY WORKDAY SCHEDULED

This Saturday, May 12th, Casco Day Park and the RED BARN come alive with activity as volunteers start the process of getting everything ready for CASCO DAYS 2012 (July 26, 27, 28). Picnic tables will come out to make room for prizes that will start arriving early summer, a new first aid building is being built, lots of sweeping, inspecting and getting ready. Painting is always on the list, and a few screws and nails to rid old man winter of his mark. Stop by to say HI or pitch in for a few minutes. Many hands make light work.

The annual banquet went well and was the kick off for CASCO DAYS 2012. The midway is in great shape and had very little winter kill. The RED BARN looks great with the new paint last fall. The Co-chairs are meeting to get the details in place for an exciting 2012. Fireworks contract has been signed, the Road Race on line registration is happening and so much easier than printing and mailing, but you still can if you prefer. Stay tuned, Bonus Prize tickets will be available by Memorial Day.

Just 14 days until you can try our famous hamburgers and hot dogs. We will be very busy on the midway starting next Monday when we set up the rides and bring out the booths. If you have some time to help stop by, we have jobs for every ability, large and small. Check out our Set-up schedule on the Casco Days Volunteers page and keep us in mind during Clean-up too. We can always use an extra hand!
